Karlartur Gottfried Wolfgang Apitzsch also known as Karl-Arthur Apitzsch (25 October 1920 in Neustettin – 1 January 1943 in a Soviet POW camp) was a German ''Oberleutnant'' in the Artillerie of the Wehrmacht during World War II. Apitzsch was born on the 25 October 1920 in Neustettin. As a first lieutenant and forward observer in 4. battery of the artillery regiment (mot.) 3, he was taken prisoner of war in late January 1943 in Stalingrad. Since then, every trace of him is missing.
